November Meeting 2019 - Liz Almond
On Saturday 2 November we welcomed Liz Almond for a full-day workshop on Kogin. This Japanese variation on Sashiko is very formal and rhythmical. Liz is a great tutor, very clear in her instructions and extremely willing to help. Here are some images from the day:-

A thoroughly enjoyable workshop, although I realised very soon that my skills are better suited to free style work. Liz's tutalage was great even for a novice like me and despite the challenge of this being a counted stitch work, I still came away with a lovely piece to be proud of
