The AGM saw the annual judging of the competitions - Anne Mullins Award for Design and Kathleen Mason Award for Stitch. The respective winners were Chris, for a piece that wasn't Blackwork, and Lynda for her White Quilt. Congratulations to all.

The national u3a chose to unveil their 40th anniversary quilt at the Whitworth Art Gallery on Friday 17 June. Among the winning entries was one from a member of Megastichers and several others from the North West region.
On 4 June, Rachael Singleton conducted an excellent workshop entitled "Object of Attention". Inspired by an object, each participant designed a mount for the item. Here are some of the finished pieces, and some great work was created.
