North West Regional Day

Merseyside are hosting the NW Regional Day on 24 April.  There will be two excellent speakers.  Take a look at the programme HERE

National Embroiderers Guild

 The General Meeting on 4 March saw the Trustees confirm that the Guild will no longer continue to support a network of branches.  Our Branch met, via Zoom, on Saturday 6 March and agreed to carry on as an independent stitch group called Megastitchers.

The result of the vote of National members for the proposed changes is as follows 

88.4%  For

10.2% Against

1.4% Spoiled/Abstained

National Embroiderers' Guild Meeting 4 March

February Meetings

We were joined by members of Chelford Branch on Saturday 6th February to review progress on our stitch dictionary project.  The theme has really struck a chord and opened out in many directions.  There were lots of exciting ideas for presenting the work and many suggestions for source material. 

Some members were inspired by Cathy Reavy's Stitch Wheel. Take a look at her work on YouTube HERE
