February Meeting 2019

In the afternoon, there was an interesting talk about the detective work of Monica Selway in uncovering the work of Cornish Embroiderer Alice Moore.  She brought examples of Moore's work and showed her own pieces, inspired by Moore.

January Meeting 2019

Happy New Year to all!

The January meeting featured an all-day workshop from Tori Riley on Batik.  Great fun was had by all and some excellent, colourful work produced thanks to Tori's inspiring pieces and expert guidance.

December Meeting 2018

A fun day at the Pre-Christmas meeting.  Members were offered packs and asked to design and create landscapes with trees.  What a great job everyone did! Such a talented group.
You may spot festive eating too - creative again.

Harrogate 2018

I am just back from Harrogate.  There were some fascinating exhibitions, demonstrations and lots of tempting shopping opportunities.
