Hopefully you are well underway with your hand-stitch sampler. It can be difficult to find stitches that represent every letter in the alphabet . Here are some more sources of ideas.
The meetings on 2 January decided on a common activity for the next six month. Members will create individual Stitch Samplers. The sampler can take the form of a hanging, a roll, a book, tags or any format you can think of. For the first month members are going to be working on stitches A. B, C, and D. The choice of stitch is left to the individual, and there were many stitches suggested, but members were encouraged to tackle stitches outside their comfort zone
There are many potential sources of stitch are abundant. Many books have alphabetical lists and many websites have descriptions, diagrams and video samples.
